NETRAKONA-E TRAFFICKING
E-trafficking service launched in Netrakona
NETRAKONA Nov 21, 20119 (BSS) – Netrakona district police in cooperation
with Grameen Phone and United Commercial Bank (UCB) launched e-trafficking
service today.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Of Police (Mymensingh range) Nibas
Chandra Majhi inaugurated the service signing an agreement with Grameen Phone
and UCB at the conference room of district police office here.
Police super of Netrakona AKber Ali Munshi chaired the function attended
by senior police officers, officers of Grameen Phone and UCB.
Inaugurating the service, the DIG Nibas Chandra Majhi called upon the
police personnel to discharge their duties with utmost sincerity and honesty
to keep the society free from crime, terrorism, militancy and drug abuse.
Referring to some recent trends of spreading rumors, the DIG said people
who are involved in spreading rumors would be dealt with iron hand.
