HABIGANJ, Nov 21, 2019 (BSS) – A pedestrian was killed as a pick up crushed her at Kamaichara on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway in Bahubal upazila of the district this afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Sitara Begum, 26, hailed from Barogaon village in the upazila.
Local people said the accident occurred around 3 pm on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway at Kamaichara when she was crossing the highway, leaving Sitara dead on the spot.
Officer-in-Charge of Shaistaganj Highway Thana Liakot Ali confirmed.
