137 meritorious students get scholarship in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI, Nov 20, 2019 (BSS) – A total of 137 students, who have attained
good results in SSC and HSC examinations this year, were given scholarship
here today.
ASA, an NGO, arranged the scholarship distribution programme in a
residential hotel in the city. Each of the students will be given Taka 11,000
under the scholarship this year.
Principal of Rajshahi College Prof Habibur Rahman attended and addressed
the programme as chief guest while Deputy Director of Local Government
Division Parvej Raihan, Assistant Commissioner Rifat Ara and District
Education Officer Nasir Uddin spoke as special guests with ASA Divisional
Manager Sazzad Haider in the chair.
