2 Indian troops killed in skirmishes with Pakistan in Kashmir
NEW DELHI, June 3, 2018 (BSS/XINHUA) – Two Indian troops including an
officer were killed Sunday in skirmishes with Pakistani troops in restive
Kashmir region, officials said.
The exchange of heavy mortar shelling was reported in frontier Akhnoor
sector of Jammu district, the winter capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir.
Local media reported that the heavy mortar shelling was underway in entire
Pargwal sector involving over 10 military posts and 35 villages.
India’s official broadcaster All India Radio (AIR) reported that three
civilians were wounded in the clash.
