CHATTOGRAM, Nov 18, 2019 (BSS) – A total of TK 393.46 crore was realized as income taxes from 26807 eligible tax payers in the last five days till Monday at the Income Tax Fair-19.
At the same time, 214,727 tax payers have already taken various services and suggestions from the income tax officials in the fair and 1714 new tax payers registered their new E-TIN numbers in this fair till Monday.
The enthusiastic taxpayers are rushing to the divisional Income Tax Fair-2019 now is being held at the city’s GEC convention centre under Chattogram Income Tax Zone for the 5th day today since November 14 last, Tax Appellate Commissioner of Chattogram Zone Mahbubur Rahman told BSS today.
Mahbubur Rahman said Income Tax Fair is being arranged to inspire eligible citizens for spontaneous payment of income taxes availing various facilities being provided by NBR and assistance of income tax officials in a hassle-free manner.
