Doa Mahfil for Kambar Ali on Friday
DHAKA, Nov 18, 2019 (BSS) – Doa mahfil for of famed chess player
Kambar Ali Shaheb will be held at his Kalabagan and Cumilla residence on Friday,
November 22 after Asr prayer.
He was also one of the founding members of Bangladesh Chess Federation.
Kambar Ali Shaheb breathed his last on November 9 at his Dhaka Residence at the age of 81.
He was the youngest son of Cumilla’s Maulavi Rafik Uddin Ahmed, and the youngest son-in-law of Faridpur’s Yusuf Ali Choudhury alias Mohon Miah, said a release here.
He was awarded a lifetime achievement award for his contribution for the development of chess in Bangladesh.
His family members have requested all his friends, well wishers, admirers and relatives to join the doa mahfil to pray for the eternal peace of the deceased.
