Training of BRUR employees ends in capital

DHAKA, Nov 16, 2019 (BSS) – A two-month foundation training programme for the employees of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) concluded at its liaison office in the capital today.

Dr Wazed Research and Training Institute organized the closing ceremony with BRUR Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Major Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah in the chair, said a press release.

Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) City Editor Madhusudan Mondal attended the programme as the chief guest, it added.

Madhusudan Mondal, in his speech, said there is no alternative to this kind of training for the employees as it (training) helps them become more efficient at the workplace.

BRUR Registrar Colonel (Retd) Abu Hena Mustafa Kamal and Member of the Board of Governors of Dr Wazed Research and Training Institute of BRUR and also the course co-coordinator of the training Dr Saber Ahmed Chowdhury were also present on the occasion.

Later, certificates were distributed among the employees of BRUR for completing the foundation training programme.

A total of 10 employees of BRUR participated in the training programme.
