Police held five terrorists in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Nov 16, 2019 (BSS)-Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested five terrorists, including an accused in the double murder of CRB, from a rented house of Ranirdighir Par under Enayet Bazar ward here in the early hours of today.
Officer in-charge of Kotwali thana Mohammad Mohasin confirmed the arrest of the terrorists from the second floor of Ishaq Villa in the area.
The detained were Sheikh Farid Ahmed, Mohammad Alauddin, Mohammad Yakub, Shimul Biswas and Sirajul Islam.
Police recovered various arms=making equipment and 110 pieces of yaba and 200 grams of ganza from their possession.
Deputy Police Commissioner (South) SM Mehdi told BSS that Sheikh Farid is an accused in the double murder of CRB and also wanted in a number of criminal suits.
