All set to hold Swechchhasebak League council
DHAKA, Nov 14, 2019 (BSS) – All preparations have been taken to hold the
national council of Swechchhasebak League, an associate body and the
volunteer wing of Bangladesh Awami League, at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital
on November 16.
Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate
the council at the historical ground Suhrawardy Udyan, said Nirmal Ranjan
Guha, convener of national council arrangement committee, while addressing a
press briefing at the central AL party office at Bangabandhu Avenue here
today.
He said the overall preparations for the upcoming council have already
been completed.
A total of 1,975 councilors, 18,000 delegates and around 15,000 guests
will be present at the national council, he added.
Member secretary of the national council arrangement committee Gazi
Mezbaul Hossain Sacchu, Swechchhasebak League vice president Motiur Rahman
Moti, convener of media sub-committee Dr Utpal Kumar Sarker, member secretary
Kazi Moazzem Hossain, organizing secretary Abdul Halim Bepari and sub-
publicity editor Obaidul Haque Khan, among others, were present at the
briefing.
