DHAKA, Nov 13, 2019 (BSS) – State Minister for Women and Children
Affairs Fazilatunnesa Indira today said ‘Joyeeta’ has been inspiring women to
be empowered through their efforts.
“Joyeeta is a platform to motivate women to be empowered with their
respective capabilities,” she said.
Indira was speaking as the chief guest at a reception ceremony to women
of the institution at the office of divisional commissioner of Chattogram,
said a press release.
Chattogram divisional commissioner M Abdul Mannan presided over the
programme, while secretary of the ministry Kanrun Nahar, Director General of
Department of Women Affairs Badrun Nessa were present, among others.
The government had established the platform, Joyeeta, to strengthen
different business initiatives of women entrepreneurs at grassroots and to
encourage them to boost their business initiatives, Indira said.
