CHATTOGRAM, Nov 13, 2019 (BSS) – National Board of Revenue (NBR) in
Chattogram accorded a reception to the highest 38 taxpayers today as the
recognition of their contribution to the national revenue.
The 38 tax payers were accorded reception in four categories – highest
tax payers, long time tax payers, highest women tax payers and youth
recognised tax payers.
Four separate zonal Income Tax Offices of Chattogram region hosted a
divisional level reception at GEC convention centre with the main to inspire
the taxpayers in paying more tax and creating new taxpayer.
A huge number of taxpayers, including members of the civil society,
professional leaders and tax lawyers were present at the reception.
Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud MP addressed the function as the
chief guest and handed over certificates and crests to the best tax payers in
Zone of Chattogram region.
