CUMILLA, Nov 13, 2019 (BSS) – Two people were killed in a road accident in
Korpai area under Burichang upazila of the district early today.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately, police
said.
Mainamati Highway Police station Sub inspector (SI) Saiful Islam said the
accident occurred on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway at about 5.15am when a
fish-laden Dhaka-bound truck fell into a roadside ditch as its driver lost
control over the steering, killing two people on the spot.
Police recovered the bodies from the spot, SI added.
