CHARGE SHEET-PRESIDENT-KALABAGAN
Charge sheet filed against Kalabagan’s Feroz in narcotics case
DHAKA, Nov 12, 2019 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) today filed
charge sheet in a narcotics case filed with capital’s Dhanmandi Police
Station against Kalabagan Krira Chakra Club President Shafiqul Alam Feroz.
Investigation officer and RAB-2 sub-inspector Jasim Uddin filed the
charge sheet with the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury
this afternoon. The court sent the matter to Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions
Judge Court for further proceedings.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shahinur Rahman on October 10 sent Feroz
to jail as police produced the accused after end of his three-day remand in
the case.
The court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Abu Sufian Mohammad Noman on
October 6 placed Feroz on three-day remand.
RAB filed the two cases against Feroz on September 21 with Dhanmandi
Police Station.
The elite crime busting agency members seized new type of yaba tablets
from his possessions. The yellow color yaba has no particular smell, making
it a significant discovery for the agency.
A foreign made pistol was also recovered from the club along with three
bullets, coins, scorecards, which are usually used in a casino, were also
recovered from the club with 572 packets of playing cards.
