Bangladesh move quarterfinal in Junior WC Kabadi

DHAKA, Nov 12, 2019 (BSS)- Bangladesh junior kabaddi team moved to the
quarterfinal of the first Junior World Cup Kabaddi Championship (boys)
beating Chinese Taipei by 48-36 points in their second match held on Tuesday
in Iran.

Earlier on Monday, Bangladesh made an auspicious start as they beat their
Afghanistan rivals by 84-11 points in the opening match.

The junior World Cup Kabaddi will conclude with the finals slated to take
place on November 15 in the national stadium of Kish Island.

Backed by the International Kabaddi Federation (IKF), the tournament is
featured Under-20 players from 13 participating nations in a bid to increase
the interest in youngsters in those countries to take up the sport and
represent their country in the future Kabaddi tournaments.
