Winning start for Bangladesh in Junior World Cup Kabaddi

DHAKA, Nov 11, 2019 (BSS)- Bangladesh junior kabaddi team made a auspicious
start as they beat their Afghanistan rivals by 84-11 points in the opening
match of first Junior World Cup Kabaddi Championship (boys) that begun on
Monday in Iran.

Bangladesh will play their next match against Chinese Taipei scheduled to
be held tomorrow (Tuesday).

The junior World Cup Kabaddi will conclude with the finals slated to take
place on November 15 in the national stadium of Kish Island.

Backed by the International Kabaddi Federation (IKF), the tournament is
featured Under-20 players from 13 participating nations in a bid to increase
the interest in youngsters in those countries to take up the sport and
represent their respective countries in the future Kabaddi tournaments.
