DHAKA, Nov 10, 2019 (BSS) – The holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (SM) marking the anniversary of birth and demise of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM) was observed today with due religious solemnity at Dhaka University (DU).
On this occasion a discussion meeting, doa and milad mahfil were held at the Central Mosque of the university, said a DU press release.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman, DU Pro-VC (Administration) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Samad, Treasurer Prof. Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin, Professor of Islamic Studies Department Dr. Abdur Rashid, Chairman of Arabic Department Prof. Dr. Mohammad Yousuf and Imam Khatib of the DU Central Mosque Dr. Syed Muhammad Emdad Uddin all spoke on the occasion.
