Seminars, workshops, discussions to feature ‘Mujib Year’: Mohibul

DHAKA, Nov 9, 2019 (BSS) – ‘Mujib Year’ beginning from next year will
feature seminars, workshops and discussions both at home and abroad to make
the people enrich about the life and ideals of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur
Rahman and his ever-inspiring leadership qualities.

Dignitaries drawing from higher echelons of different professionals will
grace the year-long celebration to give it a shape of historical milestone
for the peoples of all age groups.

The “Mujib Year” will stretch from March 17, 2020 to March 17,2021 on the
occasion of the celebration of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

This was stated by Convener of the Working Committee on Seminar, Workshop
and Discussion on Bangabandhu’s birth centenary Mohibul Hassan Chowdhoury at
the second meeting of the committee at International Mother Language
Institute here today, said a press release.

All-encompassing programmes of the ‘Mujib Year’ will not confine to inside
the country only, but also in different countries across the world, he said.

Chief Coordinator of the National Implementation Committee for Celebration
of Bangabandhu’s Birth Centenary Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury delivered
welcome speech in the meeting which was attended by Member of Parliament (MP)
Aroma Dutta, former MPs Fazilatunnesa Bappi and Mahjabeen Khaled, Pro Vice-
Chancellor of the National University Md Mashiur Rahman, Suchinta Foundation
Chairman Mohammad A Arafat, journalist Subhash Chandra Singh Roy and senior
officials of different ministries and divisions.

Speaking on the occasion, Kamal Abdul Naser said when the “Mujib Year”
will set in next year the deliberations on Bangabandhu of the world-famed
dignitaries in seminars, workshops and discussions will immensely enlighten
the people and encourage them in path-finding missions.
