City Group continue support to archery
DHAKA, Nov 9, 2019 (BSS)- Country’s one of the leading business conglomerates City Group continued their support as the allotted budget of Taka 2.41 lacs for Bangladesh Archery Federation for the third year as part of package of their five-year agreements with the BAF.
Earlier, the BAF launched five-year project Go for Gold with an aim to achieve gold medals in 2020 Tokyo Olympics and 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
City Group, one of the biggest commodity suppliers in local market, has signed a package of five-year agreements with the federation in 2017, providing the game’s oversight body with clear road map for success.
City Group executive director Jafar uddin Siddique announced the budget for BAF through a press conference held on Saturday at Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) Bhaban.
BAF general secretary Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapal, archery team coach Martin Frederic, BAF media, publication and public relation committee’s convener Rafiqul Islam Tipu and assistant general secretary Seraniyabat were present in the press conference.
