Bangladesh face Bhutan in AFC U-19 Championship tomorrow

DHAKA, Nov 9, 2019 (BSS)- The Bangladesh Under-19 boys’ football team take on their South Asian rivals Bhutan in their must win group E match of the AFC U-19 Championship-2020 qualifiers scheduled to be held tomorrow at the Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Manama, Bahrain.

The match kicks off at 7.15 pm (BST).

The boys in red and green, who started the tourney with a 3-0 lose against host Bahrain in their opening group match, will must have to beat Bhutan by a big margin and will have to look at the other results in the group to go their way in order to qualify for the 16-team final round.

Earlier, on Friday, Bangladesh fought back in the second group match as they came from behind to earn a fighting 1-1 goal draw with strong Jordan in their second group. Champions of eleven groups and four best runners-up teams will join Uzbekistan in the final round, which will be held from October 16-31 next year.
