Shipyard worker killed in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Nov 7, 2019 (BSS)- A ship breaking worker was killed when a
iron plate fell on him at a ship-breaking yard in Sitakunda upazila of the
district today.
The deceased was identified as Muslim Uddin,51, of Kadom Rasul in
Bhatiary area under Sitakunda upazila of the district.
Police said a huge steel plate fell on Muslim when he along with other
workers was dismantling a ship at Pacific shipyard at the said area around 3
pm. Muslim was rushed to Chattogram Medical College and Hospital in a
critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries around 5 pm today.
