Founding anniversary of DU Tourism and Hospitality Management dept

DHAKA, Nov 6, 2019 (BSS) – The 12th founding anniversary of the Department
of Tourism and Hospitality Management (THM) of Dhaka University (DU) was
celebrated today in a befitting manner.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the day’s
programmes by releasing balloons and cutting cake on the Business Studies
Faculty premises of the university.
After the inaugural function a seminar was held at the department where
State Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali, MP, attended as
the chief guest, said a DU press release.
Founder Chairman of Tourism and Hospitality Management department Prof.
Dr. Md. Afjal Hossain and Assistant Prof. Md. Kamrul Hasan, addressed the
programme with incumbent chairman of the department Dr. M. Badruzzaman
Bhuiyan in the chair.
