Govt official arrested on corruption charges
DHAKA, Nov 05 , 2019 (BSS) – An Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) team arrested S M Mahmudur Rahman ,58, divisional accountant of Bridge Design Section-1 in a case filed on the charge of amassing wealth beyond his known source of income.
He was arrested from Tejgaon area of the capital today.
Earlier on June 23, a case was filed against S M Mahmudur Rahman with Ramna Police Station for amassing wealth worth Tk 70, 58,780.
The investigating officer of the case Assistant Director Rezaul Karim filed the case against S M Mahmudur Rahman, former superintendent of Works Audit Directorate.
