Fire guts three tourist cottages at Sajek
RANGAMATI, June 01, 2018 (BSS) – At least three cottages used for staying
of tourists were gutted in a fire at Sajek valley in Baghaichhari upazila of
the district last night.
The inferno broke out at a cottage around 1:45 am, engulfing another two
cottages, said Anwar Hossain, officer-in-charge (OC) of Sajek Police Station.
On information, a team of Fire Service and Civil Defense from Dighinala
rushed to the spot and doused the flame with the help of security forces and
locals.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately, the OC added.
