Fish fries released at DU Bangabandhu Hall
DHAKA, Nov 4, 2019 (BSS) – Fish fry of different species were released
today at the pond of Jatir Janak Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall of
Dhaka University (DU).
DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, Provost of the hall Prof
Dr Mofizur Rhaman, house tutors, union leaders and students of the hall were
present at the event.
“The pond was remained abandoned for around a decade. We cleared the water
body and experimentally released the fish fries. The initiative may improve
the environment of the DU campus,” Prof Mofizur Rahman told BSS.
