JS body recommends submitting reports of IMED projects
DHAKA, Nov 3, 2019 (BSS) – The parliamentary standing committee on planning ministry today recommended forming a 5-member sub-committee making Saber Hossain Chowdhury as a convener to submit progress reports of the projects under Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED).
The recommendations came from the 4th meeting of the parliamentary committee held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with its Abul Kalam Azad in the chair, said a handout.
Members of the committee, planning minister M A Mannan, Major (retd) Rafikul Islam, Saber Hossain Chowdhury, Hafiz Ahmed Majumder, Rowshan Ara Manna and Adiba Anjum Mita joined the meeting.
The committee also recommended the ministry taking a project for ensuring education of unprivileged children.
The meeting reviewed the financial expenses of FY2018-19 of the projects funded by foreign supports.
