Gini terms meritorious students as country’s asset
GAIBANDHA, Nov 03, 2019 (BSS) – Jatiya Sangshad Whip Mahabub Ara Begum
Gini has urged the meritorious students to contribute a lot to take the
nation forward terming them as the country’s asset while she distributed gold
medals among two talented students.
“The brilliant students will, of course, be the worthy citizens of the
country in future and they will lead the nation properly by making the best
use of their merits and talent addressing the challenges of the 21st
century”, she said.
She was addressing a function on the occasion of distribution of Dr. Quazi
M. Badruddoza gold medal among meritorious students of the district at Zila
Shilpakala Academy here on Saturday evening as the chief guest.
Bandhu Sangstha, a local social organization, arranged the function while
mostak Abid Swapnil and Rukaiya Hasnat Rima, who secured highest marks in SSC
exam of 2019 from Gaibandha Govt. Boys’ High School and Gaibandha Govt.
Girls’ High School, received gold medals.

Towhidul Islam, Mayor of Gaibandha Municipality Advocate Shah Masud Zahangir
Kabir Milon were present at the event as special guests with President of
Bandhu Sangstha SM Amzad Hossain Dipti in the chair.
A cultural function was also organized on the occasion where several
artists preformed.
