SAPLING-DISTRIBUTION
Fruit saplings distributed in Kurigram
KURIGRAM, Nov 2, 2019 (BSS) – A total of 1500 fruit saplings were distributed among 500 families from Pandul Union under Ulipur Upazila of the district today.
District Department of Agricultural Extension and Ulipur Agriculture Office distributed the saplings in a function held at Pandul Union Parishad this noon.
M A Matin, MP, took part the function as chief guest. Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension Dr Mostafijur Rahman Prodhan chaired the function.
The other notable persons who spoke occasion were district AL president freedom fighter Aminul Islam Monju Mondol, District Trainee Officer Samsuddin Mia, Ulipur Upazila Parishad chairman Golam Hossain Montu, chairman of Pandul Union Parishad Abdul Gofur and Upazila Agriculture Officer Saiful Islam.
Each family were given three fruit saplings in the function.
