JS body on industries meeting held
DHAKA, Oct 31, 2019 (BSS) – The fifth meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Industries was held today at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban with committee chairman Amir Hossain Amu in the chair.
Committee members State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder, A. K. M Fazlul Haque, Habibur Rahman Molla and Kajim Uddin Ahmed were also present at the meeting.
The meeting had an elaborate discussion on the all issues of the Bangladesh Industrial Technical Assistance Center Bill 2019, Patent, Design and Trademark Department and production and marketing system of all the factories under the Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation (BSEC), said a press release.
The committee decided to present the final report before the Jatiya Sangsad on amendments to the Bangladesh Industrial Technical Assistance Center Bill 2019.
The committee recommended steps so that the products of the BSEC can be used in various government ministries.
Secretary of Industries Ministry, high officials of different departments and JS senior officials were also present at the meeting.
