DB detains a drug trader with 10000 pieces Yaba in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Oct 31, 2019 (BSS) – Members of Detective Branch police in a drive arrested an alleged Yaba trader with 10000 pieces Yaba tablets from Fringi bazar area under Kotwali Thana in the city early today.
The arrestees was identified as covered van driver Mohammad Faruk 32, son of Mohammad Hossain, hailed from Ukia upazila of Cox’s Bazar district.
Based on secret information, a team of Rab-7 stopped a covered van around 4.30 am at Fringi Bazar Bridge ghat under Kotwali thana and recovered 10000 pieces of Yaba tablets from the Chassis of the covered Van, said Mominul Hasan, Sub Inspector of DB police.
The elite forces also seized the covered van.
A case filed with Kotwali Thana in this connection.
The arrested person was handed over to the Kotwali Thana police.
