Women’s SME Expo-2019 begins in Ctg Friday
CHATTOGRAM, Oct 30, 2019 (BSS) – The 13th International Women’s SME Expo-
2019 will begin at Railway Polo Ground in the city on Friday.
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, MP will inaugurate the fair as the chief
guest while Chairman of SME foundation KM Habibullah, Ambassador of Indonesia
to Bangladesh Rina-P-Somarono and President of the Federation of Industries
Sheikh Fazle Fahim will attend the inaugural function as special guests.
The Women’s mega trade event will be held under the auspices of Chattogram
Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CWCCI).
Over 300 stalls, including 10 pavilions, information technology zones have
already been set up at the fair ground.
Informing this at a press conference, held at Bangabandhu conference hall
of Chattogram Press Club today organizers said some of the leading women
industrial entrepreneurs, including Export Promotion Bureau, Jute
Diversification Promotion centre, Bangladesh Tourism board, Federation of
Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries SME Foundation and a few banks
are going to cooperate and sponsor the fair.
Chairperson of the 13th International Women’s SME Expo-2019 organising
committee Dr Minal Mahbub read out the written statement at the press
conference highlighting importance and different aspects of the trade event.
The fair will remain open for the visitors from 10 am to 10 pm everyday
