TRIBUTE -WAHAB
Rich tributes paid to AL leader Wahab
CHATTOGRAM, Oct 29, 2019 (BSS) – Leaders and activists of Awami League
(AL) today paid rich tributes to one of the organizers of Liberation War and
former lawmaker MA Wahab through a day – long programme.
In observance of the 8th death anniversary of Wahab, Chairman of the
parliamentary standing committee on Ministry of Railway also acting President
of Chattogram North District unit AL ABM Fazley Karim Chowdhury MP placed
wreaths at the grave of MA Wahab at his native village Fatehpur under
Hathajari upazila of the district.
Speaking on the occasion, Fazley Karim said, “MA Wahab, a former President
of North District Awami League, was the dedicated organizer of the Liberation
War and we would never forget his contributions toward society and the
party”.
Vice president of North district AL Mohammad Moinuddin, north district
General secretary MA Salam, AL leader Yunus Gani Chowdhury and Raozan upazila
Chairman Ehsanul Haider Chowdhury Babul, among others, were present on the
occasion.
