DU “Gha” unit admission test result published
DHAKA, Oct 29, 2019 (BSS) – The honours first-year admission test result of
Dhaka University (DU) ‘Gha’ unit under social science faculty for 2019-20
academic session was published today.
Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman announced the result today at
12:45 pm at the central admission office of DU administrative building on the
campus.
A total of 11,158 students obtained pass marks in the examination. The pass
rate is 13.26 percent while 84,177 candidates took part in the
entry test held on September 27, 2019, said a press release.
A total of 1,097 seats are preserved for the science background students,
410 seats for business group students and 53 seats for arts background
students among the total 1,560 seats under “Gha” unit.
The results are available on the university website
www.admission.eis.du.ac.bd or the students can get the results using short
message service (SMS) on any mobile operator. For SMS notification of the
result, the aspirants will have to type DU GHA roll number and send it to
16321.
The passed students have to fill up a detailed form and a subject choice
form on the university website from October 31 to November 14.
Application can be submitted to the dean office of social science faculty
for reviewing the result from October 30 to November 06.
