2,63,439 students to appear in JSC exam under Rajshahi Board

RAJSHAHI, Oct 29, 2019 (BSS)- A total of 2,63,439 students including
1,36,042 girls are going to appear in the forthcoming Junior School
Certificate (JSC) examinations under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary
Education, Rajshahi scheduled to start from November 2 (Saturday).

According to the board sources, the students will take part in the
examination from 2,988 institutions in 259 centres in all eight districts
under the board.

The board authority has taken all-out preparations to hold the
examinations properly and in a positive manner.

As part of the preparations, the board management held a views-sharing
with all 259 centre secretaries at the board conference hall here yesterday
afternoon.

Board Chairman Prof Mokbul Hossain, Secretary Dr Moazzem Hossain,
College Inspector Habibur Rahman and Controller of Examinations Debashish
Ranjan Roy addressed the meeting.

Prof Mokbul Hossain urged the attending centre secretaries to discharge
their duties keeping close coordination with education board and district and
upazila civil and police administrations for successful holding of the
examination.

He also urged them to follow the examination policy and guidelines
strictly to attain the cherished goal of making the examination peaceful and
successful.
