KHULNA, Oct 29, 2019 (BSS) – Construction work of a mural of Father of
the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman began at Khulna University (KU)
here on Monday aiming to inspire students to know about life and works of
Bangabandhu.
KU authority is building the 40 feet height mural at its compound.
Vice-chancellor of KU Prof Dr. Fayek Uzzaman inaugurated the
construction works as the chief guest while treasurer Prof Sadhon Ronjon
Ghosh, acting register Prof Khan Golam Kuddus, head of mural discipline
(Acting) Md. Sheikh Sadhi Bhuiyan, were present, among others.
VC Fayek Uzzaman said the attractive out-looking installation of the
mural will furthermore brighten the image of the University.
He hopes that the complete mural of Bangabandhu will be inaugurated last
week in November.
He said all people should know about the life and works of Bangabandhu
to materialize his dream of building a “Sonar Bangla”(Golden Bangladesh).
