Cyprus University Rector meets DU VC
DHAKA, Oct 28, 2019 (BSS) – Rector of Cyprus Social Sciences University
Prof Dr Mustafa Tumer called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor (VC)
Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman today at the latter’s office of the university.
He was accompanied by Prof Himmet Karadal, Editor of International
Journal of Entrepreneurship and Management Inquiries and Prof Dr Asim
Saldamli of Mardin Artuklu University, Turkey, said a DU press release.
Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies of DU Prof Shibli Rubayat-Ul-
Islam and Prof Dr Md Wahiduzzaman of IER of DU were, among others, present on
this occasion.
During the meeting, they discussed various issues including the
possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research
programs among Dhaka University and different universities in Turkey and
Cyprus.
The academic delegation is now on a visit to Bangladesh to attend a two-
day long international conference on ‘Business and Economics’ organized by
the Faculty of Business Studies of DU.
