Eighteen additional HC judges take oath
DHAKA, May 31, 2018 (BSS) – Eighteen newly appointed additional judges of High Court today took oath at Supreme Court Judges’ Lounge a day after their appointment by President M Abdul Hamid.
Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain administered the oath at a ceremony, conducted by Supreme Court Registrar General Dr Md Zakir Hossain.
Judges of both the divisions of the Supreme Court were present during the occasion.
The new judges are Md Abu Ahmed Jamadar, Md Mostafizur Rahman, Narsingdi district and session judge Fatema Najib, Dhaka metropolitan sessions judge Md Kamrul Hossain Molla, Dhaka district and session judge SM Kuddus Zaman, Dhaka divisional special judge Md Atowar Rahman, Supreme Court lawyers SM Abdul Mobin, Mohammad Ali, Mohi Uddin Shamim, Md Riaz Uddin Khan, M Khairul Alam, Ahmed Sohel and KM Hafizul Alam, deputy attorney generals Khizir Hayat, Shashanka Shekhar Sarkar, SM Moniruzzaman, Sardar Mohammad Rashed Jahangir and Khondaker Diliruzzaman.
