Eight police officials promoted to additional DIGs
DHAKA, Oct 28, 2019 (BSS) – The government has promoted eight police officials to the rank and status of additional deputy inspector general (DIG) of police.
Public Security Division of the Home Ministry today issued a notification in this regard.
The newly promoted police officials have been asked to send joining letters to Public Security Division, according to the notification.
The officials are: Mainul Haque, Superintendent of Police (SP), Jashore district; TM Mojahidul Islam, SP, Chapainawabganj district; Md Ilias Sharif, Deputy Commissioner, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP); Shyamal Kumar Nath, DC, Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP); Nure Alam Mina, SP, Chattogram district; Md Zakir Hossain Khan, DC, DMP; Md Anwar Hossain Khan, Assistant Inspector General, Police Headquarters and Md Shah Abid Hossain, SP, Mymensingh district.
