9,759 dengue patients return home after recovery in Khulna
KHULNA, Oct 28, 2019 (BSS)- A total of 9,759 dengue patients have returned
home after recovery from different hospitals and clinics in the division.
Some 10,452 patients were admitted to the different hospitals in Khulna
division since January this year, according to an official release of
Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in Khulna. Of them, 9,759
patients have returned home after recovery, it added.
Around 163 dengue patients are now undergoing treatment at different
hospitals and clinics of the division.
According to the DGHS, a total of 33 people died of the mosquito-borne
tropical disease so far in the division and a total of 15,280 dengue test
kits have been reserved in the division.
Around 44 new dengue patients got admitted to different hospitals in the
last 24 hours across the division while 530 patients have been referred to
different hospitals in Dhaka city.
