DU to bear educational expenses of 2 unprivileged students
DHAKA, Oct 27, 2019 (BSS) – The Dhaka University (DU) authorities took the
responsibilities of bearing educational expenses of two financially
unprivileged students who got chance in DU in 2019-20 academic session.
The students are –Asma Khatun and Md Siyam, they got chance through “Kha”
unit admission test holding merit positions of 368 and 789 respectively, said
a DU press release.
Notably, Daily Prothom Alo on 26 October published a report showing
uncertainty of these two students to get admit at DU for financial crisis.
Following the report DU authority decided to bear their educational expenses,
the release added.
