CHATTOGRAM, Oct 27, 2019 (BSS) – A month-long Bangladesh Trade and Export
Fair began today in the Outer stadium in Chattogram city.
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi formally inaugurated the trade fair as the
chief guest. Chattogram Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and industries is
organizing the month-long fair.
On the occasion, the minister said the trade and export fair would
significantly contribute to boosting economy of the country.
As Chattogram region has high potential for expansion of business, such
fair will create an ample opportunity for investors as well as businessmen,
he added.
Mela Committee convener Anisuzzaman Bhuiyan presided over the inaugural
function while president of Chattogram Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and
Industries Khalilur Rahman delivered the welcome speech.
CMP commissioner Mahbubur Rahman, CMCCI vice President Mahbub Chowdhury,
Aladus Samad Lavu, among others, addressed the function as the special
guests.
