DHAKA, Oct 26, 2019 (BSS)-The Bangabandhu Gold Cup International Football
tournament will be held on November 19-29 at Bangabandhu National Stadium in
the city.
The decision was taken unanimously at the Bangladesh Football Federation
(BFF) executive committee’s meeting held today at BFF board room with its
president Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin in the chair.
The meeting also decided to send the men’s national football team in the
13th South Asian Games to be held in Nepal and will arrange the women’s
football league in December.
In the meeting, the BFF executive committee congratulated the national
football team for playing out to a draw with India in the FIFA World Cup 2022
Qatar (Qualifiers round-2) match, the U-15 women’s soccer team for becoming
runners-up in the U-15 SAFF Championship and the U-16 national football team
for becoming champions in the U-16 Boys’ Tournament UEFA ASSIST in
Collaboration AFC.
