Age Group Women’s Swimming competition begins tomorrow
DHAKA, Oct 25, 2019 (BSS)- The Inter-district Age Group Women’s Swimming
competition will begin tomorrow (Saturday) at Dhanmondi Sultana Kamal Women’s
Sports Complex in the city.
Parliament member Meher Afroz Chumki is expected to inaugurate the two-day
meet as the chief guest while General Secretary of Bangladesh Swimming
Federation SB Saif will present as special guest.
Near about 200 players from different districts across the country will
take part in the two-day meet, organised by Bangladesh Women’s Sports
Association (BWSA).
State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell will be the chief
guest in the prize distribution ceremony on Sunday (October 27) and hand over
the prizes.
National Sports Council Secretary Masud Karim will present as the special
guest in the prize distribution ceremony.
BWSA president Mahbub Ara Gini will preside over the prize distribution
ceremony of the meet.
