Gaibandha district administration hosts Iftar party
GAIBANDHA, MAY 31, 2018 (BSS)-The district administration hosted an Iftar
party and doa mahfil for officials and civil society members of the town at
the local Circuit House yesterday.
Deputy Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Advocate Fazle Rabbi Miah, whip of
the Jatiya Sangsad Mahbub Ara Begum Gini and Barrister Shamim Haider Patwari,
MP, were present as the guests of honor.
District and Sessions Judge Rasheda Sultana, SP Engineer Abdul Mannan
Miah, Chief Judicial Magistrate Mushrat Jerin, Civil Surgeon Dr. Abdus
Shakur, PWD Executive Engineer M. Arifuzzaman Khandaker, Gaibandha Pourasabha
Mayor Advocate Shah Masud Zahangir Kabir Milon, president of district Awami
League Advocate Shams-ul-Alam Hiru and General Secretary Abu Bakar Siddique
were also present in the Iftar party.
Earlier, DC Gautam Chandra Pal welcomed the guests on behalf of the
district administration.
The DC also thanked all sections of the people for participating in the
function and expressed his satisfaction over their attendance.
Before the Iftar, a special prayer was offered seeking continued peace,
progress and prosperity of the country and its people.
Pesh imam of Bara Mosjid Mufti Mowlana Mahmudul Hasan conducted the
prayer.
