Age Group Women’s Swimming Competition begins Saturday
DHAKA, Oct 24, 2019 (BSS)- The Inter-district Age Group Women’s Swimming Competition will begin on Saturday (October 26) at Dhanmondi Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex in the city.
Meher Afroz Chumki, MP, will inaugurate the meet as the chief guest while Bangladesh Swimming Federation general secretary SB Saif will present as the special guest.
Near about 200 players from different districts across the country will take part in the two-day meet, organized by Bangladesh Women’s Sports Association (BWSA).
State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell, MP, will be the chief guest in the prize distribution ceremony on Sunday (October 27) and hand over distribute the prizes.
National Sports Council Secretary Masud Karim will present as the special guest.
BWSA president Mahbub Ara Gini will preside over the prize distribution ceremony of the meet.
