RAJSHAHI, Oct 23, 2019 (BSS)- Admission test for the first year B. Sc
Engineering courses in Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology
(RUET) under its 2019-20 academic session will be held tomorrow (Thursday).
Some seven students will vie for each seat in admission tests. A total
of 9,060 students are going to appear in two groups of the entry test against
1,235 seats in 14 departments under three faculties this year.
Of those, 8,280 students will take part in ‘KA’ group test scheduled to
be held from 9 am to 11 am while 780 others in ‘KHA’ group from 9 am to 12:10
noon.
Result of the intake test will be published on November 4 (Monday).
Admission Committee President Prof Mosharraf Hossain said they have
completed all sorts of preparations to hold the test peacefully and
successfully. “We are very much prepared to check any kind of forgery
relating to the test,” he asserted.
Prof Hossain said the admission seekers have been asked to bring two
copies of admit card along with the main registration card of HSC Exam along
with its photocopy to take part in the admission test. None will be allowed
to enter into the examination hall without the papers.
He also said none of the students will be allowed to possess any
electronic device excepting calculator during the time of examination.
