CHATTOGRAM, Oct 22, 2019 (BSS)- Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP)
detained 22 persons from different areas under Bakalia thana early Tuesday.
It is believed that the area is infested by Shibir dominated mess quarters.
The drive is underway and the number of arrestees may increase, Mohammad
Nizamuddin, Officer-in-Charge of Bakalia Thana told BSS.
The drive against Shibir activists was launched in Bogar Beel of Bakalia
Monday midnight and the raid may continue, he added.
Nizam said, the campaign will continue and the number of arrestees will be
ascertained after completing the drive.
