DHAKA, Oct 22, 2019 (BSS) – State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain has urged the government official to gather more knowledge on the changing world to ensure better services for the common people.
“Gathering knowledge will increase the confidence of the officials and help them provide better services to the common people,” he said while speaking as the chief guest at a function, marking the BCS Administration Academy’s 32nd founding anniversary at its auditorium in the city on Monday night.
Referring to the remarkable development that has taken place in all sectors of the country, including education, health, administration, agriculture and manpower, under the present government, he urged all government officials to work together to continue the ongoing development pace.
Cabinet secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam, Prime Minister’s principal secretary Md Nojibur Rahman, principal coordinator (SDG Affairs) to the Prime Minister’s Office Md Abul Kalam Azad, chairman of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission Dr Muhammed Sadique, secretary of the prime minister’s office Sajjadul Hassan, public administration secretary Faiz Ahmed and Local Government Division secretary and president of the Bangladesh Administrative Service Association Helal Uddin Ahmed attended the function as special guests.
Rector of the Bangladesh Civil Service Administration Academy Kazi Rowshan Akhter presided over the function.
