Educationists for digitized facilities to improve quality of education

RANGPUR, Oct 22, 2019 (BSS) – Academics at a launching function held at
Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) today laid emphasis on adoption of
digitized facilities at educational institution to make lessons easily
understandable to students.

They made the comments in a function arranged for inauguration of the
Virtual Classroom at the Department of History and Archaeology in the Heyat
Mamud Bhaban on the campus of the university.

Vice-chancellor of BRUR Professor Dr. Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah formally
inaugurated the Virtual Classroom by unveiling plaque in the function as the
chief guest.

Moderated by Lecturer of the Department of History and Archaeology Sohag
Ali, Registrar of the university Colonel (Retd) Abu Hena Mustafa Kamal, Head
of the Department of History and Archaeology Assistant Professor Ara Tanzia,
its Associate Professors Md. Golam Rabbani and Md. Akhterul Islam attended
the function.

The vice-chancellor said the BRUR authorities would gradually introduce
virtual classroom at all departments of the university to improve standard of
education.

“The newly launched virtual classroom at the Department of History and
Archaeology of the university would make lessons interesting and easily
understandable for the students,” he added.
