Ctg Abahani face Young Elephants tomorrow
DHAKA, Oct 22, 2019 (BSS)- Motivated Chittagong Abahani Limited is looking
forward to continue their streak as they face Young Elephants FC of Laos in
their second group A match of Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup football
tournament scheduled to be held tomorrow (Wednesday) at MA Aziz Stadium in
Chattogram.
The match kicks off at 7 pm, after the match between defending champions TC
Sports Club and Mohun Bagan Athletics Club that begins at 4 pm at the same
venue.
Both Chattogram Abahani and Young Elephants have collected three points
each following their 4-1 and 2-1 victories over TC Sports Club and Mohun
Bagan in their respective group A opening matches. And another win will guide
them to the semifinal.
On the other hand, it will be a crucial match for both TC Sports Club and
Mohun Bagan as both the teams must win to stay in the championship race.
The defending champions TC Sports Club and traditional Kolkata’s outfit
Mohun Bagan must be looking forward to fight back in the tournament following
their first matches defeat in the tournament.
