RAJSHAHI, Oct 22, 2019 (BSS)- Admission test for the first year B. Sc
Engineering courses in Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology
(RUET) under its 2019-20 academic session will be held on Thursday (October
24).
A total of 9,060 students will appear in two groups of the entry test
against 1,235 seats in 14 departments under three faculties this year.
Of those, 8,280 students will take part in ‘KA’ group test scheduled to be
held from 9 am to 11 am while 780 others in ‘KHA’ group from 9 am to 12:10
noon.
Result of the intake test will be published on November 4 (Monday).
RUET Vice-chancellor Prof Rafiqul Islam Sheikh revealed this while
addressing a press conference held at its office conference hall ahead of the
test today.
Admission Committee President Prof Mosharraf Hossain, Registrar Prof Selim
Hossain and Students Welfare Director Prof Rabiul Awal were present on the
occasion.
Prof Rafique Sheikh said the admission seekers were asked to bring two
copies of admit card along with the main registration card of HSC Exam along
with its photocopy to take part in the admission test. None will be allowed
to enter into the examination hall without the papers.
He also said none of the students will be allowed to possess any
electronic device excepting calculator during the time of examination.
